10/5/2023 0 Comments Best silent storm modsI'm curious, what type of LP is this going to be, and are we going to give just classes or personalities as well? If so, then:Ī bitter, cynical war-veteran who knows that war is hell and anyone who don't comprehend that won't stay alive long enough to figure it out.Ī wide-eyed optimist and kind hearted soul trying to deal with just how horrible the situation is, slipping away from his ideals and hopes, and slowly taking after the soldier.Ī aggresive man with anger-manangement problems that he can only express through flaming, explosive chaos and destruction, and a mean drunk while he's at it.Īn abused woobie who hate's that he feels useless on the team and resents the other two for being better than him, untill he learns of a love deep down he never knew he had. *For those not familiar with JoWood's masterpiece. I'll let voting continue for a week or so, then I'll start with the Let's Play. (although the Allied campaign has the Webley-Scott revolver )Ĭookie's NoPK mod (for reasons obvious to those familiar with the game* ) They can become accomplished snipers, and they have a talent (Feat) tree that allows them to become skilled hand-to-hand fighters, following in the long tradition of medics also being boxers.Īs to which campaign to play, I leave that up to you as well, as I have no real preference. Their healing skills advance faster than any other class, and they can get nearly-dead comrades back into battle in mere turns. They are rather weak with firearms, and their stealth abilities leave much to be desired. A high-level engineer can do more damage than a sniper's headshot, but that's all. They do have access to the most damaging items in the game bombs. They are the best at using lockpicks and mine removal tools, but any locked door or box can easily be bashed open, and any trapped door or box can just be shot from a distance away. ![]() They throw good.ĮNGINEER- This class, while it seems useful, is actually kind of weak. They do decently with rifles and submachine guns, but that's about it. ![]() GRENADIER- Just like the name suggests, these characters have a much longer throwing range than the other classes, and deal more damage with grenades (and possibly knives, IDK). Scouts are excellent for hit-and-run tactics to thin down enemy forces before the rest of the squad moves in. They are strongest with a suppressed submachine gun, but they're also quite deadly with knives or grenades, and can become skilled snipers with practice. SCOUT- IMO the best class, the Scout can sneak up on almost anyone, kill them in a variety of ways, then sneak away unnoticed. Their accuracy with handguns allows them to defend themselves quite effectively at this range. Despite their long-range prowess, Snipers are still a force to be reckoned with if surprised at close range. They are quite stealthy, however Scouts still outshine them in this area. With the rare suppressed sniper rifle, they become death-dealing ghosts. SNIPER- As you might expect, Snipers are at their best when they can casually pick enemies off from ridiculous distances with scoped rifles. Soldiers also do quite well with grenades or melee weapons, although not as well as Grenadiers and Scouts, respectively. They will murder the hell out of people at a decent range with any automatic weapon, or a rifle in a pinch, but they are at their bone-shredding, wall-smashing best when they are carrying a LMG under their arm. SOLDIER- These guys handle the heavy machineguns.
